Class Policies

In order to optimize your learning experiences at Little Owls Knit Shop, regular classes are limited to 6 students.  Please be aware that in order to reserve space in a class you must pay the full registration fee in advance.  Payment may be made in the shop or over the phone with a credit card.

Students may cancel a registration for a full refund up to one week in advance of the scheduled class date, or for store credit if cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled class time.  There will be no refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of a scheduled class and no make-up classes will be offered for missed attendance.  Please read the class description carefully to be sure that you arrive prepared with all the required supplies and any necessary homework so that we can optimize your class learning time.

Registered students will be offered a 10% discount for all supplies purchased for their class.  Please support your local yarn shop and purchase your class supplies at the Little Owls Knit Shop.

Private classes are available upon request and will be billed $30/hr in 15 minute increments with a 15 minute minimum.  Private classes scheduled in advance will require a $15 deposit, which can only be refunded if the appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours prior to class.

To keep you engaged, there is a touch of stranded color-work for the adventurous, but you can work in single color if a beginner level is more to your liking.

Event - Smitten Mittens KAL

Thursday evenings in November from 5-7:30, we will be working on our Smitten Mitten collection.  You are invited to bring some yarn and comparable needles or of course we can help you find some good selections from the shop.  We will provide the pattern.  There is no charge for this KAL.

These cuties would make great gift toppers, winter/holiday decorations, and if you are industrious - an awesome advent garland!
