This class starts at home with the pre-class homework.  Having your gauge set will help determine how to set the pattern according to your desired fit.  Items for consideration:  ease, length, neckline, waist shaping.

PATTERN: included

MATERIALS: (10% off supplies purchased at Little Owls Knit Shop)

  • worsted weight or DK weight yarn for pattern plus several gauge swatches
  • needles in various to set gauge, this pattern is worked flat for straight or circular needles are fine
  • stitch markers, darning needle

SKILL LEVEL:  INTERMEDIATE - Should be comfortable with basic knitting stitches and reading a pattern, some math is involved but we can assist with that!

HOMEWORK:  To be completed prior to class

Work up a 6 x 6" gauge swatch in the recommended needle size for your yarn, then work a second swatch using one needle size larger, and a third swatch using one needle size smaller.  Label each swatch with the needle size used and block.  Bring all swatches and needles to the first class.
