This class will introduce the techniques used in making a mitten. Keep it simple with one color for beginners, or add one or two additional colors using stranded colorwork for more adventurous knitters.
PATTERN: the pattern is provided
MATERIALS: US #3 / 3.25mm and US #5 / 3.75mm (or as required to meet gauge), worsted weight yarn in 2-3 solid contrasting colors
DK weight yarn for size to be made:
toddler (child, adult SM, adult L)
fits hand: 5 (6, 7.5, 8.5)” around
MC: 80 (110, 140, 160) yds
CC1: 15 (20, 30, 35) yds
CC2: 25 (30, 40, 45) yds
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to Intermediate
HOMEWORK: CO and join in the round being careful not to twist. Work cuff ribbing then work one Knit round, and place lifeline.
